We offer a variety of extra reinforcements that you can add as an option, such as:

  • Removable Knees (A10, B1 only)
  • Pocket reinforcements

  • Foam knee pads
  • Extra layer of padding
  • Extra layer of thermal

Reinforcements offer extra abrasion resistance as well as attributes such as durability and ease of cleaning.

Padding can improve comfort when crawling or kneeling.

ISP stands for “Independent Service Provider”. ISPs, when discussing turnout gear, is talking about a company that has been audited by a third party to perform the advanced cleaning, advanced inspection, and advanced repairs of firefighting PPE.


Fyrepel was started in the mid 40’s its claim to fame was Red Adare in TX fighting Oil well fires and grew from there. Fyrepel is the name Lakeland’s fire gear used to be called.
